Training Facility

Armed Guard Private Protection is a certified training facility through BSIS. AG Private Protection offers a wide variety of expert training to trainees to meet their goals. More and more individuals are becoming certified guards and security in California. The rapid decrease in Law Enforcement personnel has increased the level of private security. Ag Private Protection staff has recognized the need for security personnel and has become a training facility to develop highly trained students to protect the property of hard working members in our society. The training offered has three phases. Phase I, Phase II and Phase III security guard training. The training program is run by the director’s highly qualified instructors. Training consents of baton certification, firearm certification for an exposed firearm permit, chemical gents, taser certification and phase I, II and III training.

Basic Security Academies
Basic Guard (Five Day Academy) 40 hours $475.00 The basic guard academy includes phase I, phase II, and phase III courses.
Basic Guard with Exposed Firearm (Seven Day Academy) 56 hours $600.00 The basic guard academy includes phase I, phase II, and phase III courses. Basic Guard academy plus firearms includes exposed firearm and firearm range qualification.
Advanced Guard Academy (Ten Day Academy) 80 hours $1000.00 Advanced Guard Academy includes phase I, phase II, and phase III classes plus exposed firearm and range qualification, baton certification, chemical agents, CPR/First Aid, and Air Taser Certification.
NRA Certified Courses
First Steps Pistol Orientation Course $75.00 NRA FIRST Steps Pistol is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type. This course is at least four hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific pistol action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, FIRST Steps Course completion certificate.
NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course $95.00 This Course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely.

This course is at least 9-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet; take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.
